By Next Level Pod on June 7th, 2023 in Uncategorized
No matter the industry, AI has been the topic of many conversations lately. Is it beneficial? Is it a threat? We held out on talking about it on the podcast because we like to be able to provide action steps to take law firms to the next level. We have tested the use of AI at GNGF and finally feel confident to share what we have learned and the AI features we are leveraging across our agency to help our clients.
AI Tools
No, ChatGPT will not run your law firm for you, but it can free up a lot of time to spend your efforts in the right areas to grow your firm. It provides the best answer for the question, so better questions receive better answers. You may also ask the AI to verify where it sourced the information in its response. However, it is not sentient and cannot think for you.
Here are some free or low monthly cost AI tools that could benefit your law firm:
It’s also found in:
- Canva
- Hootsuite
- Microsoft Word with Co-pilot
- Otter.ai
The Importance of the Prompt
In the context of AI content generation tools such as ChatGPT, a prompt refers to the input given to the tool to generate output. As we said, better questions result in better answers. A prompt typically consists of a short text outlining the desired topic, context, and tone of the output the AI tool will generate. A fun tool to help you get more creative with prompts is PromptVibes. The trick is to treat it like a human virtual assistant. It remembers previous questions and your response to previous answers in a saved chat, so it will get to know you and provide better responses over time.
Using AI for Google Business Profile Posts
Google Business posts are less emotional and personal than social media posts and are easier to start using AI with. Practice being specific and using sub-topics. In your AI Tool, you should be able to create a few different chats for each practice area or niche you want to market. Prime the prompt with your target market and feed it some of your best pages on the topic. Then prompt the AI to provide Google Business Profile posts with a call to action. Double-check for ethical language risks such as promises, legal advice, solicitation, etc.
